  1. Hi , I’d like to know if I can cover the Sistine chapel first followed by the museums and gallery on the right side of the entrance as you have mentioned. Or is it difficult to get back to the entrance once I take left ?

    1. You have an option to either go left towards Sistine Chapel (you will need to go through multiple exhibits) and then return back to the main point and then see the rest of the museums to the right.

  2. I’m an American who’s going to Rome soon, and this guide has been very helpful! Thank you!

  3. Really exhaustive and well researched blog..thanks a lot.
Just wanted to know (1) whether I should do the Vatican museum in the morning followed by sistine Chapel in the afternoon or should it be the other way around
    (2) Are there no skip the line tickets for the St Peters basilica???
    (3) How long would be the approximate wait for the skip the line ticket’s at the Vatican museum in last week of May (early afternoon slot after seeing the St Peters basilica)???
Hope you can answer my queries…
    Regards
    Mehul
