  1. A well researched…. and well covered places….. must have made the little soul walk a lot.. may be she will slowly become one like you…. travelling around… Lots of love to both of you – From Old… but the original Vagabond (like the asli Lakshmi Babu ka sona chandi !!!!

    1. Herculaneum since being the nearest to Mount Vesuvius was covered completely with Volcanic thus was preserved for centuries unlike Pompeii which was raised to the ground. This helped Herculaneum to be frozen in time. If you even get another chance do visit it.

      My next blog will be on Mount Vesuvius which was the next leg of the trip that I did with my daughter. Will publish that hopefully by this weekend.

  2. That is a great trip, I am sure she will cherish the memories for long.
    I too walked there with my kids. Reading in history books and then seeing for real impacts the mind a lot.

    1. Yes it was indeed fun especially the trek to Mount Vesuvius which I will write after this. All was fine except taking her to the toilets since I could not get inside I had to keep instructing her what needs to be done. I used to ask the ladies coming out of the toilet about the cleanliness inside since I could not enter them myself. Rest was all fine and a memorable trip.
