  4. I have a query Subhadip. It will be our first time to CMC and we will see at gynecologist there. Online information shows the doctor can be seen in March 2018. We want to visit soon this month. Do you think once we go there physically, it will be possible for us to see the specific doctor this month?

      Unfortunately that information I wont be able to provide since I do not have any official rate chart. You may however phone the office (phone numbers on their website) and inquire.

  6. Thank you. You have done great service. I wish I had found this before my first cmc visit. I’ll share to anyone wishing to come to cmc.

    Please help to mention few important tips:
    – many of hired rooms will have bed bugs and cockroaches.
    – in my second visit I found that people rent out empty flat in their houses, you need to go behind the cmc building not to the front ( not the ida scudder rd) and ask the residents. The water will be much cleaner in this houses and more clean and no bugs. But of course slightly more pricey starting 500. Well that’s According to my survey.

  14. I am currently undergoing treatment at the hematology department of CMC Vellore.
    This detailed blog is just spot on. Everything has been described so perfectly that I wish everyone goes through it before arriving.
    Initially it can be a bit harassing for the patients and their relatives to adjust.

  21. A big thank to you. Absolutely a detailed information a advice may help huge people who already visited and yet to visit cmch vellore. I have personally visited more than 30 times from since 1985 when bengali food was unavailable and manual documentation (flat file) was maintained in the hospital. So your all true and honest information must be valuable for all out side patients.
