  1. Its really good to see the house of great Bengali novelist Mr. Sarat Chandra Chattopadhya, had some infos about it but this post has enriched my knowledge, never seen the inner parts of the house, once planned to visit it but got cancelled, will make a plan again.
Thanks for sharing with so many details and the beautiful captures.

  2. It is very important post for me . This looks a less known place but really beautiful . Sharat da is not famous only in Bengali or in English but also in Hindi too , he has same place in the hearts of readers .

      1. Commendable. We visited the place on 24th Feb2018. It had no reference of family heritage either or any zamindari possession. This house was made by an author with strong sense of art and aesthetics. Rooms were enveloped with many stories and the choice of livings. My tribute and homage to this dynamic man who belonged to nature and the simple style of the villege people.

  3. We just returned from the place. Such a nice decor and the aesthetics of the building ever seen. It neither had any heritage or family ancestry nor the reference of any zamindars….just the house of an author who was an institution by himself. My homage to this dynamic man and worshipper of the nature and the common people of the vilage.
