  1. I was there in 2010. There shouldn’t be any issue with getting a visa to visit Lahore and seeing the tomb of Jahangir. Take care. Khalid

  2. Interesting article. I wonder how you managed to travel from Kolkata to Myanmar by road. Is there any regular transportation like bus, flight, etc.?

  3. Mr. Mukerjee,
Could you have a glance at the Visitor’s Book.
Did you come across observations by Subhash Chandra Bose recorded therein when he visited the Durgah sometime around 1944 ?
If so, what were his remarks.

    1. There was no proper tomb at this location in 1940’s. A mere slab marked the location and it stated “Ex-King of Delhi was buried near this spot”.
When Bose visited in 1940’s, he would have seen the slab and an empty field.
The graves were discovered in 1990’s and a tomb was built over them.
