Un believable history wow wow💥 i am from thiruvannamalai (part of old North arcot) I am seeing google map for routes but accidentally i noticed India gate from arcot it creates curiosity to me Becoz i am history lover soo i searched the history about this Delhi gate but there is no clear history . only getting Little little from many at Last ! A result of countinous searching finally i got your blog this very very useful to me !! I don’t know my own district history little i feel ashamed but Thanks to you for this clear information 👍🏻

    We went to the Delhi Gate today. It faces the river. However, your layout diagram shows it at 90° to the river. It’s a little puzzling – can you clarify, please?

    Also, some of the ruins of buildings that you describe as being inside the Fort seem to be outside .. the hinges and the crenellations seem to indicate that the entrance was on the river side – ie to the north ? What do you think ?
