I have been blogging since 2005 and I have always managed to keep my blog free from paid content. I have traveled to a few countries as a part of sponsored FAM (familiarization) tours but the blogs that I wrote as a part of those tours were never influenced. I do not have banners on my site nor do I allow paid guest posts.

Over the years things have become increasingly expensive and maintaining a blog is challenging. The cost of web hosting is increasing steadily not to mention the photography and videography gears which require regular updates and maintenance.

The places that I travel to within India and abroad are all self-funded and are managed with little or no savings that I can pull off after the regular life expenses consisting of EMIs, day-to-day expenditures, etc.
