  1. Guess what? We have a wonderful garden and we spent our summers exactly like that.. lol.. guava trees are best.. its so easy to climb them and pluck remotest of amruds hanging.. and jhulas are easy to attach.. monsoons are the prettiest under guava trees.. although we have many trees in garden guava will always be our favorite..

Garden at home brings our children closer to nature. It’s important part of our lifestyle. City gardens are somewhat restrictive in being friendly with trees and plants. At home we get so attached to trees and flowers and even become over protective – like dont pluck flowers for no reason, let them flower and blossom. It teaches a lot to us as human beings.

Beautiful pics, glad to bump here. 🙂

    1. Thanks Shaurabh, I miss that Guava tree, I remember once slipping and falling down but the pain from falling down was not much compared to the laughter my cousins (mostly sisters) gave out. The games of Badminton, Cricket and occasionally golf (not the real golf but imaginary with sticks and an old golf ball).

My daughter will always miss these….

And thanks for sharing your stories too 🙂

  2. beautiful flowers in your garden … very nice blog , i will look forward to this one as I was brought up in a typical urban house with no garden at all , not even any tiny kitchen garden …but then I was always drawn to nature for more than one reasons. And now yet another house of my own in this urban space gave me a small balcony where i try to fulfill my dreams…with flower pods to house plants to easy to maintain leafy plants …and since i donot have any hands on experience it gets diffficult at times but then the sheer joy of looking at the first blooms always always makes my heart leap with no bounds !!! A pleasure I never felt before having this tiny urban balcony garden !
And yes, i may ask you a lot of questions , specially names of many plants n flowers! 🙂
